The Blushing Bride: On September 25th, 2004, Richard Roxburgh wed Italian stage actress Silvia Colloca. The two met while filming Van Helsing, in which Colloca played one of three brides to Roxburgh's Count Dracula. The event was held in a Tuscan castle and, while uninvited guests may have cramped the affair, the famous bride and groom walked as out husband and wife. A perfect wedding for the perfect couple.

Silvia Colloca is a renowned name in Italian theatre. As a trained mezzo soprano, she is frequently seen in musical roles. Van Helsing is her international film debut; however, she has previously appeared on the Swiss Italian small screen in "L'Avvocatto". Born May 28, 1978 in Milan, Italy, the youngest of three, Silvia was destined for drama. She began studying the craft at the age of thirteen and the rest, as they say, is history.

Silvia Colloca News: Silvia is currently appearing in "L'Apocolisse delle scimmie" (Apocolypse Of The Monkeys), the story of a mother in great pain and her husband's struggle with indecision regarding how euthenising his wife might affect their daughter. Colloca's role is that of a heroin addicted single mother.
